VG 550 ZA – The fully automatic mitre band saw for large dimensions and maximum performance

When large profiles, high cutting capacities and cost-effective series production are required, the BAUER VG 550 ZA is the ideal solution. This fully automatic mitre band saw is based on the proven machine concept of the VG series and was developed for users who want to machine larger workpieces efficiently and precisely.

The integrated automatic material feed reliably transports the material to the cutting position and positions it precisely for each individual cut. Thanks to automatic end-of-material monitoring, the machine operates with process reliability and enables near-unattended operation.

Like the VG 450 ZA, the VG 550 ZA is also ideally suited for fully automatic production of frame components with different mitre angles. Angle sections, rectangular and square tubes, round tubes and solid material are machined with the highest precision and repeat accuracy – ideal for steel, metal, window, door and façade construction.

The hydraulic mitre adjustment enables cutting angles from 45° left to 60° right, allowing a wide variety of frame constructions to be produced without manual reclamping.

Thanks to the fully automatic material feed, the VG 550 ZA handles the entire material advance independently. The operator simply places the material and starts the program – the machine does the rest fully automatically.
